Vanilla Rice Pudding
Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 package (4.6 oz) Jell-O Vanilla Flavored Cook & Serve Pudding Mix
  • 1 cup uncooked instant white rice
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Mixture:
    • In a saucepan, beat the egg and milk together with a whisk until well blended.
    • Add the dry pudding mix and beat for 2 minutes.
  2. Cook the Pudding:
    • Stir in the rice and raisins.
    • Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent sticking.
  3. Cool and Serve:
    • Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    • Remove from heat and pour the pudding into dessert dishes or a serving dish.
    • Sprinkle with ground cinnamon and nutmeg.
