Vanilla Rice Pudding
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 4 cups milk
- 1 package (4.6 oz) Jell-O Vanilla Flavored Cook & Serve Pudding Mix
- 1 cup uncooked instant white rice
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions:
- Prepare the Mixture:
- In a saucepan, beat the egg and milk together with a whisk until well blended.
- Add the dry pudding mix and beat for 2 minutes.
- Cook the Pudding:
- Stir in the rice and raisins.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent sticking.
- Cool and Serve:
- Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and pour the pudding into dessert dishes or a serving dish.
- Sprinkle with ground cinnamon and nutmeg.
