Low-Carb Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
- Add the shredded mozzarella cheese and cream cheese to the bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the cheeses are melted and well combined.
- Once the cheese mixture is smooth, add the eggs and mix until fully incorporated.
- Transfer the dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Place another piece of parchment paper on top of the dough and use a rolling pin to flatten it into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Remove the top parchment paper and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the dough.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the breadsticks are cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
- Slice the breadsticks into strips and serve warm.
