I always doctor up my sauce up with alittle garlic powder, salt & pepper. I usually add some low fat mozzarella cheese too but I was out. I spray the bread with canola oil spray on one side and get it a-little crunchy in the broiler, flip it over and spray & toast the other side. Then take it out add sauce, mushrooms or any toppings you like. I don’t use a lot of sauce because too much will make your bread soggy or you could fold your bread over to make it thicker. Put it back in the broiler to melt the cheese. Quick & easy !!!
