Vegan Creamy Ranch Dressing 🌱🥗

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of plant-based milk (e.g., almond, soy)
  • 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 cup of vegan mayo
  • Seasonings: garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, dried dill, salt, black pepper, and a small splash of dill pickle juice

Instructions:

  1. Create Vegan Buttermilk:
    • In a bowl, combine 1 cup of plant-based milk with 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar or lemon juice.
    • Let it sit for about 10 minutes or until you notice it curdling. This creates your vegan “buttermilk.”
  2. Make the Base Ranch:
    • In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of vegan mayo with the vegan “buttermilk” you just created.
  3. Season to Taste:
    • Add the following seasonings to your liking: garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, dried dill, salt, black pepper, and a small splash of dill pickle juice.
    • Start with smaller amounts and adjust the seasonings to achieve your desired flavor. You can always add more if needed.
  4. Customize Your Ranch:
    • This is your base classic ranch dressing. From here, you can get creative! Turn it into Buffalo ranch by adding hot sauce, make it spicy with sriracha, add smokiness with chipotle, or create a refreshing cucumber ranch.
    • For a thicker dip similar to Helluva, you can incorporate more vegan mayo or even some vegan sour cream.
  5. Mix well to ensure all the flavors are nicely combined.
