Vegan Brownies Recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce (as an egg substitute)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped vegan chocolate or vegan chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the vegetable oil, applesauce, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Fold in the chopped vegan chocolate or chocolate chips into the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).
  8. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Once cooled, cut the brownies into squares and enjoy your delicious vegan brownies!
