🍳 Instructions
1. Prepare the Brown Rice
- If using uncooked rice, prepare according to package instructions.
- Once cooked, fluff with a fork.
- Mix in 1 tbsp olive oil, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt.
- Set aside and keep warm.
2. Cook the Mediterranean Beef
- Heat 3 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and cook until soft and golden (about 5 minutes).
- Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and break it apart with a wooden spoon.
