Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups fresh peaches, chopped
1/2 cup peach preserves
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in vanilla extract.


In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
Fold in the chopped peaches.
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Drizzle peach preserves over the cooled cake before serving.
