Easy two ingredient dough cinnamon rolls!!! They taste amazing!! 2 weight watchers points per roll

Serves 12 people

The starting point for these indulgent cinnamon rolls is our two-ingredient dough,
It comes together much faster than a yeast dough, which is typically used for cinnamon rolls—so that you can have these on the table within an hour.

The texture is a little heartier than yeast-dough cinnamon rolls, somewhere between a dinner roll and a biscuit.

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine flour in a large bowl. Whisk together 1 1/2 cups yogurt, 1 Tbsp vanilla, in a medium bowl. Add yogurt mixture to flour mixture; stir well with a wooden spoon until just combined and then keep mixing dough in bowl with your hands until smooth (about 2 minutes of kneading). If dough is too sticky to knead, add more flour, 1 Tbsp at a time, until no longer sticky.

Place a large piece of parchment paper on a work surface and sprinkle with a little flour. Place dough on parchment paper, and roll into a 12 x 9–inch rectangle. Sprinkle evenly with swerve brown sugar and cinnamon, all the way to the edges. Starting with a long edge, roll up dough tightly (use parchment paper to help roll up dough) to form a 12-inch-long roll. Cut roll into 12 (1-inch) slices. Arrange dough slices in an 11 x 7–inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake until lightly browned, 22 to 25 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before topping with frosting .

melt pillsbury zero sugar frosting and drizzle over cinnamon rolls. Serve warm.

Here’s some additional information about the recipe:

Ingredient Details:

  • White Self-Rising Flour: This type of flour already contains baking powder and salt, which helps the dough rise without the need for additional leavening agents.
  • Plain Fat-Free Greek Yogurt: Greek yogurt adds moisture and protein to the dough while keeping it low in fat. It also contributes to the texture of the dough, providing a slightly tangy flavor.
  • Swerve Brown Sugar Replacement: This is a zero-calorie, zero-carb brown sugar substitute made from erythritol and oligosaccharides. It adds sweetness and a brown sugar flavor to the cinnamon filling without adding extra points.
  • Pillsbury Creamy Supreme Sugar-Free Vanilla Frosting: A sugar-free frosting option to top the cinnamon rolls. It adds sweetness and enhances the flavor of the rolls.
  • Vanilla Extract: Adds a hint of vanilla flavor to both the dough and the frosting, enhancing the overall taste of the cinnamon rolls.
  • Ground Cinnamon: Adds warmth and flavor to the cinnamon filling, giving the rolls that classic cinnamon roll taste.

Baking Instructions:

  • Preheating the Oven: Preheating the oven to 350°F ensures that it’s at the right temperature when you’re ready to bake the cinnamon rolls, helping them rise properly and cook evenly.
  • Rolling Out the Dough: Rolling the dough into a 12 x 9–inch rectangle ensures that the cinnamon filling is evenly distributed throughout the rolls.
  • Cutting the Rolls: Cutting the rolled-up dough into 12 (1-inch) slices creates individual cinnamon rolls of uniform size.
  • Baking Time: Baking the cinnamon rolls for 22 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned ensures that they’re fully cooked and have a slightly crispy exterior.

Serving and Storage:

  • Frosting: Drizzling the melted frosting over the warm cinnamon rolls adds sweetness and creates a delicious finishing touch.
  • Serving Size: Each serving is one cinnamon roll, making it easy to portion and enjoy.
