For the Cabbage Steaks:

  • 1 medium head of green cabbage, sliced into 1-inch thick rounds (0 points)

  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Beef Patties:

  • 1 lb 96% lean ground beef or 99% lean ground turkey (0–4 points depending on plan)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 egg (0–2 points depending on plan), for binding
  • Optional: chopped parsley or finely grated onion

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

Step 1: Roast the Cabbage Steaks

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange cabbage slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Brush lightly with olive oil or spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  4. Sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until browned and tender.

Step 2: Cook the Beef Patties

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground meat with Worcestershire sauce, spices, and optional egg.
  2. Form into 4 equal patties.
  3. Cook in a skillet over medium heat for 4–5 minutes per side, until fully cooked (internal temp 160°F).
