Weight Watchers Friendly Poor Man’s Jalapeño Poppers

Ingredients:

  • 6 large jalapeño peppers, halved lengthwise and seeds removed
  • 1/2 cup reduced-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, cooked and crumbled turkey bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Spoon the cream cheese mixture evenly into each jalapeño pepper half, filling them to the top.
  4. Place the stuffed jalapeño halves on the prepared baking sheet, spaced evenly apart.
  5. Lightly spray the tops of the stuffed jalapeños with cooking spray to help them brown in the oven.
