  • 1 can of chickpeas (400g)
  • 2 cans of chopped tomatoes (800g total)
  • 4-5 potatoes, chopped
  • 2 large carrots, grated
  • Chili powder, to taste
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

Slow Cooker Method:

  1. Drain and rinse the mixed beans, green lentils, and chickpeas.
  2. Add the mixed beans, green lentils, chickpeas, chopped tomatoes, chopped potatoes, and grated carrots into the slow cooker.
  3. Add chili powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the vegetables are tender and the flavors are well combined.

Hob Method:

  1. Drain and rinse the mixed beans, green lentils, and chickpeas.
  2. In a large pot, add the mixed beans, green lentils, chickpeas, chopped tomatoes, chopped potatoes, and grated carrots.
  3. Add chili powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until the vegetables are tender and the flavors are well combined.
