Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef

Instructions:

For the Salad:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. While the beef is cooking, prepare the salad ingredients: shred the lettuce, shred the cheddar cheese, and dice the pickles and onions.
  3. Once the ground beef is cooked, drain any excess fat.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the shredded lettuce, cooked ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, diced pickles, and diced onions.

For the Special Sauce:

  1. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, yellow mustard, white vinegar, sugar-free sweetener (if using), finely diced pickles, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Adjust the sweetness and seasoning according to your taste.
  2. Drizzle the special sauce over the salad.
