- Butter for cooking
- Powdered erythritol (optional, for dusting)
- Sugar-free maple syrup (optional, for dipping)
Instructions:
- Lay out the slices of bread, and on one side of each slice, layer a slice of ham, a slice of turkey, a slice of Swiss cheese, and a slice of cheddar cheese.
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well-coated.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Cook each sandwich for 3-4 minutes on each side or until the bread is golden brown, and the cheese is melted.
- Remove the sandwiches from the skillet and let them rest for a minute.
- Optionally, dust the sandwiches with powdered erythritol for a sweet touch.
- Slice the sandwiches diagonally and serve warm.
