I love ranch and chicken together! There’s a reason I made my skillet crack chicken thighs. A creamy ranch sauce mixed with sharp cheddar cheeses and the savoriness of sautéed chicken. How To Make Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole Keto Friendly-Step By Step
- First, chop up you chicken breast or chicken tenders.
- Season your chicken with salt, ranch seasoning and garlic. Then, on a high heat sauté chicken just to brown it then remove from pan.
- Next, grab a pot to make cream sauce. Pour in water and heavy cream. Then, add ranch seasoning, parmesan cheese and cream cheese. Heat just enough to pull it all together. Once it’s smooth and cheese has melted remove from heat.
- Quickly cook chopped up bacon until crispy. Cut up fresh broccoli and green onion.
- Fill casserole dish with sautéed chicken. Top with broccoli, green onion and bacon. Next, pour in ranch cream sauce and spread out evenly. Finish the casserole off with shredded cheese on the top.
- Lastly, place in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Allow to cool a bit then serve.

- I have found ranch seasoning in a few different areas. A use Penzeys and the keto friendly one by Select Savory Seasonings, in store you come across Hidden Valley ranch that contains maltodextrin.
- The cheeses in the sauce create the thickness. If you want to remove one cheese be sure to add a thickener such as arrowroot, tapioca or xanthan gum.
- You can use any chicken you choose. I chose to chop up my chicken because it’s spread out more throughout the recipe.

INGREDIENTS:
Chicken Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken tenders (or breast)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
Ranch Cheese Sauce
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 4 ounces full fat cream cheese
- 2 ounce parmesan cheese
Ranch seasoning
- 2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dill weed
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoon whole buttermilk (optional)
- 1/8 teaspoon xanthan gum
Add In Casserole
- 4-5 ounces broccoli
- 5 strips bacon
- 1/4 cup sharp shredded cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare chicken
- Chop chicken then season. Coat evenly
- Sauté chicken on a high heat to brown. Dont try to cook it all the way through. It will finish cooking in the oven.
Prepare sauce
- In a pot on a medium heat add water and heavy cream first. Then add cream cheese and parmesan. Season the sauce with ranch and salt. Continue mixing to avoid sticking. Cook long enough just for cheeses to melt. Once smooth remove from heat.
- Preheat oven to 400°F and cook bacon unless you bought bacon bits
Make casserole
- Add chicken first then add bacon, green onion and broccoli
- Pour in sauce and mix around evenly. Top with shredded cheese then bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove then allow to cool.
