Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground chicken (lean)
  • ½ cup oats (or oat flour)
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt (adds protein & moisture)
  • 2 tbsp grated onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cumin or Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley or cilantro
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients:
    In a bowl, combine ground chicken, oats, egg, Greek yogurt, onion, garlic, and all seasonings. Mix until just combined (don’t overmix).
  2. Shape patties:
    Divide mixture into equal portions and form round patties.
  3. Cook patties:
    Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
    Cook patties for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
  4. Rest & serve:
    Let patties rest for 2 minutes before serving.

Optional Cooking Methods

  • Air Fryer: 375°F (190°C) for 12–14 minutes, flipping halfway
  • Oven: 400°F (200°C) for 18–20 minutes
