Place this mixture into a small baking dish and press down
In the frying pan, add butter and saute the mushrooms
Sprinkle with salt and pepper, seasoning salt and parsley

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the casserole is set
Bread crumbs or crushed crackers can be sprinkled on top during the last ten minutes
Sprinkle with grated cheese and let the cheese melt before removing from the oven.
This dish can be served with a plate of white rice, or with homemade mashed potatoes. A dinner salad on the side makes it the perfect combination and filling meal.
We usually have a roasted vegetable such as asparagus or green beans, and some homemade garlic toast as a side.
This dish is a meal itself, it never hurts to add some extra vegetables in your meal. I also tend to add some onions in the skillet when I am browning the ground beef. Saute until they turn opaque and are softened.
This is a very versatile meal that you can add to, using basically anything your family enjoys.
