Fried Cabbage with Bacon Onion and Garlic Weight Watchers-Fried Cabbage with Turkey Bacon and Flavorful Seasonings

Ingredients:
6 slices turkey bacon, chopped (reduces saturated fat and SmartPoints)
1 large onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large head cabbage, cored and sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil (use sparingly to reduce SmartPoints)
1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (reducing slightly for flavor)
Instructions:
In a large non-stick skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium-high heat until it becomes crispy, about 8-10 minutes.
Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook and stir until the onion becomes translucent, about 5 minutes.

Drizzle olive oil over the mixture and stir. This will add a touch of healthy fat to enhance flavors.
Immediately stir in the sliced cabbage and continue to cook and stir for another 8-10 minutes until the cabbage wilts slightly.
Season with salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Adjust the seasoning to your taste.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let it simmer for an additional 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary. Serve hot.
