Easy Keto Chocolate Nougat Bars
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Chilling Time: 1-2 hours
Total Time: Approximately 2 hours
Yields: About 12 bars
For the Nougat:
1 1/2 cups creamy almond butter (or any nut butter of your choice)
1/2 cup powdered erythritol (or any low-carb sweetener of your choice)
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup almond flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Chocolate Coating:
2 cups sugar-free dark chocolate chips
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Instructions:
Prepare the Nougat:
In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy almond butter, powdered erythritol, unsweetened cocoa powder, almond flour, and vanilla extract. Mix until it forms a smooth and thick nougat-like consistency.
Line the Pan:
Line a 9 x 13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on both sides. Spray the paper with oil to prevent sticking.
Spread the Nougat:

Press the nougat mixture evenly into the lined baking pan. Use a spatula or your hands to smooth it out. Place it in the refrigerator to set while you prepare the chocolate coating.
Prepare the Chocolate Coating:
In a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler, melt the sugar-free dark chocolate chips and coconut oil together until smooth.
Coat the Bars:
Once the nougat has set, pour the melted chocolate mixture over the nougat layer. Use a spatula to spread it evenly, covering the entire surface.
Chill and Set:
Place the pan in the refrigerator and let it chill for about 1-2 hours, or until the chocolate coating is firm.
Cut into Bars:
Remove the bars from the pan using the parchment paper overhangs. Place them on a cutting board and cut them into bars of your desired size.
Serve and Enjoy:
Your homemade keto chocolate nougat bars are ready to be enjoyed! Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
