Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ⅔ tablespoon salt
  • ½ tablespoon ground thyme
  • ½ tablespoon basil
  • ⅓ tablespoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon celery salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard powder
  • 4 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons garlic salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 3 tablespoons ground white pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Accent flavor (MSG)
  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Spicy Coating:
    • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, ground thyme, basil, oregano, celery salt, black pepper, mustard powder, paprika, garlic salt, ground ginger, white pepper, and Accent flavor (MSG).
  2. Coat the Cauliflower:
    • Dredge the cauliflower florets in the spice blend, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
  3. Heat the Oil:
    • In a deep fryer or a large pot, heat the oil to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry the Cauliflower:
    • Fry the coated cauliflower florets in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-5 minutes per batch. Make sure not to overcrowd the fryer.
  5. Drain and Serve:
    • Remove the fried cauliflower wings and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
