Caramel Apple Snickers Salad
Ingredients:
- 4-5 medium apples (such as Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Fuji) – diced
- 5-6 Snickers bars, chopped (fun-sized bars work well, or you can use regular size)
- 1 (5.1 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix (the 4-serving size)
- 1 cup (240ml) milk (preferably whole milk for a creamier texture)
- 1 (8 oz) container Cool Whip (thawed)
- 1/4 cup (60g) caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Optional: 1/2 cup chopped peanuts or pecans (for extra crunch, if desired)
- Optional: extra caramel sauce for drizzling on top
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Pudding Mix:
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk. Whisk for about 2 minutes, or until the pudding thickens and is smooth.
- Set the pudding aside for a few minutes to fully thicken.
2. Add the Whipped Topping:
- Once the pudding has thickened, fold in the entire container of Cool Whip. Gently stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
3. Chop the Apples and Snickers:
- Core and dice your apples into bite-sized chunks. You can leave the skin on for a bit of extra texture and color, but feel free to peel them if you prefer.
- Chop the Snickers bars into small bite-sized pieces. The fun-sized Snickers bars usually work well because they’re already small.
4. Combine Everything Together:
- In a large bowl, gently fold the chopped apples and Snickers bars into the pudding and whipped topping mixture. Mix carefully so that everything is well coated, but avoid mashing the apples.
5. Add Caramel:
- Drizzle about 1/4 cup caramel sauce into the salad and gently fold it in. You can add more caramel if you want it extra gooey and sweet.
6. Optional Add-ins:

- If you’d like extra crunch, fold in some chopped peanuts or pecans to give the salad a bit more texture and flavor.
7. Chill the Salad:
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. This allows the flavors to meld and gives the salad time to chill.
8. Serve and Enjoy:
- Just before serving, drizzle some additional caramel sauce on top for an extra sweet finish.
- Serve chilled in bowls or small dessert cups. Enjoy this decadent treat!
Storage:
- Leftovers: Store any leftover Caramel Apple Snickers Salad in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2-3 days. The apples may start to soften a bit, but it still tastes delicious!
