A quick, no-bake treat with a delicious peanut butter and Butterfinger flavor, perfect for holidays or anytime you need a sweet fix!
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Chill Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: ~50 minutes
Servings: ~24 balls
Ingredients
2 cups crushed Butterfinger candy bars (about 6 full-size bars or 12 fun-size bars)
1½ cups creamy peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
3 cups milk chocolate chips (or semi-sweet, if preferred)
1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for smooth melting)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed Butterfinger candy bars, peanut butter, and powdered sugar. Mix until fully combined into a thick, moldable dough.
Step 2: Shape the Balls
Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Chill the balls in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm up.
Step 3: Melt the Chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using).
Heat in 20-30 second intervals, stirring between each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
Step 4: Coat the Balls
Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each chilled Butterfinger ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated.
Place the coated balls back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
Step 5: Let the Chocolate Set
Allow the chocolate to harden by leaving the balls at room temperature or placing them in the fridge for about 15-20 minutes.
Optional Garnish:
Drizzle with melted white chocolate for decoration.
Sprinkle with crushed Butterfinger pieces on top before the chocolate sets.
Storage:
Store Butterfinger Balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
These also freeze well—store in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months.
These Butterfinger Balls are the ultimate sweet and salty treat, bursting with peanut butter goodness and the irresistible crunch of Butterfinger candy!
