Baked Cream Cheese Cheese Spaghetti Casserole
Ingredients
12 oz whole wheat or low-carb spaghetti
1 (26 oz) jar low-sodium marinara sauce
1 lb 99% lean ground turkey (or extra lean ground beef)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (8 oz) package reduced-fat cream cheese cheese, room temperature
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook Meat: In a skillet, brown the ground turkey until cooked through. Drain any fat and stir in the marinara sauce. Set aside.
Cook Spaghetti: Cook spaghetti according to the directions on the package. Drain and place cooked spaghetti in a bowl.
Mix Spaghetti with Cream Cheese Cheese: Add the reduced-fat cream cheese, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic to the spaghetti. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and the spaghetti is thoroughly coated.
Assemble Casserole: Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Spread a small amount of meat sauce on the bottom of the dish. Put the spaghetti mixture on top of the sauce and then top with the remaining meat sauce.
