Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs 🍗
- 2 tbsp olive oil 🫒
- 1 tsp smoked paprika 🌶️
- 1 tsp garlic powder 🧄
- 1 tsp onion powder 🧅
- 1 tsp chili powder or cayenne pepper (adjust to taste) 🌶️
- 1 tsp ground black pepper ⚫
- 1 tsp salt 🧂
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano or thyme 🌿
- Lemon wedges for serving 🍋
Instructions:
🔪 Prep the chicken:
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
- Rub olive oil all over the chicken.
🧂 Make the spice mix:
- In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder (or cayenne), black pepper, salt, and oregano/thyme.
- Rub the spice mix evenly over the chicken thighs, coating thoroughly.
🔥 Preheat air fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3–5 minutes.
🍳 Cook the chicken:
- Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 10 minutes, then flip to skin-side up.
- Cook for an additional 10–12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is nice and crispy.
