Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of turkey
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter for cooking
  • Powdered erythritol (optional, for dusting)
  • Sugar-free maple syrup (optional, for dipping)

Instructions:

  1. Lay out the slices of bread, and on one side of each slice, layer a slice of ham, a slice of turkey, a slice of Swiss cheese, and a slice of cheddar cheese.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well-coated.
  4. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  5. Cook each sandwich for 3-4 minutes on each side or until the bread is golden brown, and the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove the sandwiches from the skillet and let them rest for a minute.
  7. Optionally, dust the sandwiches with powdered erythritol for a sweet touch.
  8. Slice the sandwiches diagonally and serve warm.
