Ingredients:-
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1/4 cup granulated erythritol or a similar keto-friendly sweetener
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 egg white
Instructions:-
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg white until it becomes frothy.
- Add the pecans to the frothy egg white and stir until the pecans are well coated.
- In a separate bowl, combine the granulated erythritol and ground cinnamon.
- Sprinkle the erythritol and cinnamon mixture over the pecans and toss them until they are evenly coated.
- Spread the coated pecans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the pecans are toasted and the coating is crispy.
- Remove the pecans from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet. They will continue to harden as they cool.
- Once completely cooled, store your keto candied pecans in an airtight container. Enjoy as a delicious keto-friendly snack or use them to top salads, yogurt, or desserts….
