WW BANANA BREAD

Ingredients:

2 large ripe bananas, mashed
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup plain fat-free Greek yogurt
1/4 cup granulated sugar substitute (e.g., Stevia, Splenda)
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
Cooking spray or a small amount of light butter or oil for greasing the pan
Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Pan:
Lightly grease a 9×5-inch (23×13 cm) loaf pan with cooking spray, light butter, or oil.
Mix Wet Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, unsweetened applesauce, plain Greek yogurt, granulated sugar substitute, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
Combine Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg (if using).
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix; it’s okay if there are a few lumps.
Bake:
Pour the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick or cake tester inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool:
Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Slice and Serve:
Once cooled, slice the banana bread and serve.
