Vegan Crunchwrap Supreme

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb plant-based ground meat alternative
  • 1 packet vegan taco seasoning mix
  • Water, as per seasoning mix instructions
  • 6 large vegan-friendly burrito-size flour tortillas
  • Vegan nacho cheese sauce
  • Vegan-friendly tostada shells
  • Dairy-free sour cream
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Diced tomato
  • Vegan shredded cheese

Instructions:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook and crumble the plant-based ground meat alternative until browned.
  2. Drain any excess liquid from the cooked meat and add the vegan taco seasoning mix, following the instructions on the packet and adding water as necessary. Allow the mixture to simmer for optimal flavor.
  3. Warm the vegan nacho cheese sauce in a separate saucepan, ensuring it reaches a smooth and spreadable consistency. Set aside.
  4. Microwave the large vegan-friendly burrito-size flour tortillas for 20 seconds to soften them.
  5. On each tortilla, spread a layer of the warmed vegan nacho cheese sauce.
  6. Add a generous portion of the seasoned vegan taco meat onto the center of each tortilla.
  7. Place a vegan-friendly tostada shell on top of the taco meat layer.
  8. Spread a layer of dairy-free sour cream onto the tostada shell, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and vegan shredded cheese.
  9. Carefully fold the bottom edge of the tortilla up to the center, then continue folding the remaining edges tightly around the fillings to form a sealed package.
  10. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place each assembled Vegan Crunchwrap Supreme seam-side down.
  11. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crisp.
  12. Once cooked, remove from the skillet and serve immediately.
