Ingredients:

For the Burger Patties:

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef (preferably 80% lean)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Special Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sugar-free ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon dill pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Additional Ingredients:

  • Iceberg lettuce leaves (for the bun replacement)
  • Sliced cheddar cheese
  • Dill pickles
  • Chopped onions (optional)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

For the Burger Patties:

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions and shape them into thin patties.
  3. Season each patty with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill the patties for 2-3 minutes per side or until they reach your desired level of doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

For the Special Sauce:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sugar-free ketchup, dill pickle relish, yellow mustard, white vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Adjust the seasoning to taste.

Assembling the Keto Big Mac:

  1. Take two large iceberg lettuce leaves for each burger patty. These will serve as your “bun.”
  2. Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom, add a burger patty with melted cheese, and top it with chopped onions (if using), pickles, and a generous drizzle of the special sauce.
  3. Add another lettuce leaf on top as the “bun” to complete the Keto Big Mac.
  4. Optionally, sprinkle sesame seeds on top for a traditional appearance.
  5. Repeat the process for the remaining patties.
