Ingredients:

For the Burger Patties:

  • 1 pound ground beef (preferably 80% lean)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (make sure it’s low in carbs)

For Assembling the Burgers:

  • 4 large lettuce leaves (for wrapping, or use keto-friendly buns)
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked until crispy
  • 4 slices of your favorite cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or any keto-friendly cheese)
  • Keto-friendly mayonnaise
  • Mustard
  • Pickles
  • Sliced tomatoes (optional)
  • Sliced onions (optional)
  • Avocado slices (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Burger Patties:
    • In a bowl, gently mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Form the mixture into four equal-sized burger patties.
  2. Cook the Patties:
    • Grill the burger patties on a barbecue or cook them in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes per side or until your preferred level of doneness is achieved.
  3. Add Cheese:
    • In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover with a lid to melt the cheese.
  4. Assemble the Burgers:
    • If you’re using lettuce wraps, place each burger patty on a large lettuce leaf. If using buns, assemble the burgers accordingly.
  5. Top with Bacon:
    • Add a slice of crispy bacon on top of each burger patty.
  6. Add Toppings:
    • Add keto-friendly mayonnaise, mustard, pickles, and any additional toppings you prefer, such as sliced tomatoes, onions, or avocado.
  7. Wrap or Serve:
    • If using lettuce leaves, wrap the burger and secure it with toothpicks. If using buns, close the burgers and serve.
  8. Serve:
    • Serve your Keto Bacon Cheeseburgers with a side of your favorite low-carb vegetables or a salad.
