Ingredients:
For the Burger Patties:
- 1 pound ground beef (preferably 80% lean)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (make sure it’s low in carbs)
For Assembling the Burgers:
- 4 large lettuce leaves (for wrapping, or use keto-friendly buns)
- 4 slices of bacon, cooked until crispy
- 4 slices of your favorite cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or any keto-friendly cheese)
- Keto-friendly mayonnaise
- Mustard
- Pickles
- Sliced tomatoes (optional)
- Sliced onions (optional)
- Avocado slices (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Burger Patties:
- In a bowl, gently mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Form the mixture into four equal-sized burger patties.
- Cook the Patties:
- Grill the burger patties on a barbecue or cook them in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes per side or until your preferred level of doneness is achieved.
- Add Cheese:
- In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover with a lid to melt the cheese.
- Assemble the Burgers:
- If you’re using lettuce wraps, place each burger patty on a large lettuce leaf. If using buns, assemble the burgers accordingly.
- Top with Bacon:
- Add a slice of crispy bacon on top of each burger patty.
- Add Toppings:
- Add keto-friendly mayonnaise, mustard, pickles, and any additional toppings you prefer, such as sliced tomatoes, onions, or avocado.
- Wrap or Serve:
- If using lettuce leaves, wrap the burger and secure it with toothpicks. If using buns, close the burgers and serve.
- Serve:
- Serve your Keto Bacon Cheeseburgers with a side of your favorite low-carb vegetables or a salad.
