INGREDIENTS:

  • Sesame seeds (toasted), 2 tsp
  • 1.5 pounds of steak (sirloin)
  • Cilantro (chopped)
  • Half tsp of ginger (ground)
  • A quarter cup of soy sauce
  • Oil of sesame, two tablespoons
  • Substitute of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon
  • A quarter teaspoon . of pepper flakes (red)
  • Minced garlic, 2 cloves

INGREDIENT NOTES:

SESAME SEEDS:

Heat the skillet on normal-low flame for roasting seeds of sesame. The roasted sesame gives a nice aroma & look to the dish.

STEAK:
Use your choice of cut for the steak. Here we are using sirloin steak. You may use other steaks as well.

CILANTRO:
We are using the fresh cilantro here. You may go for any other fresh herbs for garnishing

SOY SAUCE:
It gives its favorite umami flavor. You may use tamari or coconut aminos in its place if you are allergic to soy.

OIL OF SESAME:
To have the best aroma, use the oil of roasted sesame in your dish.

REPLACEMENT OF BROWN Sugg
The addition of a keto version of brown sugar spikes the taste of the Asian steak bites. You may use the commercial or homemade version, Whichever is available to you.
INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Wash the steak in a nice manner & cut it into cubes.
  2. Remember to cut the cubes of steak to an equal size (1 inch).
  3. The equal size will let them cook in an even manner.
  4. Place these cubes of sirloin steaks in a normal-sized vessel.
  5. Place another vessel at your workplace.
  6. Include the garlic, soy sauce, ginger, sweetener & pepper flakes (red)
    in a little vessel.
  7. Mix to combine well.
  8. Transfer the sauce to the cubes of steak & mix in a proper way to coat them well.
  9. Cover it with the wrap (cling).
  10. Put it in the refrigerator for an hour to steep.
  11. Keep it chill while marinating will help to go the flavors deep inside.
  12. Place the large skillet over normal heat.
  13. Then include the oil of sesame in it to heat.
  14. Use the spoon with holes to transfer the steak bites to the heated oil.
  15. Fry them well from each side by turning them every 2/3 minutes.
  16. Dish them out in a bowl as they are golden brown on the exterior & tender on the inside.
  17. Cook the next batch in a similar way & dish it out once it gets ready.
  18. Next, simmer the remaining marinade till it thickens.
  19. Drizzle the thickened marinade over the cooked steak cubes.
  20. You can also serve the cooked marinade as a sauce on the side of the steak cubes (cooked).
  21. Convert the steak cubes to the serving plate.
  22. Sprinkle the roasted seeds over it to have a presentable look.

TIPS:

Never make the skillet overcrowded with the cubes of steak. Whether you have to work in shifts, arrange the steak bytes in a single layer. That is how they get the best crisp.
Ensure that the cubes are cut to the same size. This will help you to cook them in equal time.

STORAGE INFORMATION:

FREEZER:
Pack the remaining Asian steak bites in a locked vessel & freeze them for 90/100 days.
The longer freezing time will let the meat dry. So it is better not to freeze for too long.

FRIDGE:
Use the fridge to save the remaining steak bites in a locked vessel. You can use them within 3/4 days.
How can you serve the dish?
