  • 1/4 cup skim milk
  • Cooking spray
  • Sugar-free maple syrup (optional, for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. Using a rolling pin, flatten each slice of bread.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Spread about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto each flattened slice of bread.
  5. Roll up each slice of bread tightly, starting from one end.
  6. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.
  7. Dip each roll into the egg mixture, coating it evenly.
  8. Place the coated rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Lightly coat the tops of the rolls with cooking spray.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  11. Serve warm with sugar-free maple syrup if desired.
