Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Twists

Soft, chewy twists with chocolate chips and a cookie-dough flavor — without sugar crashes or tons of points! These are made with almond flour, sugar-free chocolate chips, and a light dough so you can enjoy bakery-style treats anytime.


Ingredients (Low-Carb Dough)

  • 1 ½ cups almond flour
  • 2 tbsp coconut flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sweetener (Monk fruit or allulose)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp Greek yogurt (0% for WW)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Healthy Cookie Dough Filling

  • 2 tbsp light cream cheese (or dairy-free cream cheese)
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar-free brown sweetener
  • 2 tbsp sugar-free chocolate chips
  • ½ tsp vanilla

Instructions

1️⃣ Make the dough

  1. In a bowl, whisk together almond flour, coconut flour, sweetener, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add Greek yogurt, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  4. Chill 10–15 minutes (important — makes twisting easier).

2️⃣ Make the filling

  1. Mix cream cheese, almond milk, brown sweetener, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Stir in sugar-free chocolate chips.
  3. Refrigerate 5 minutes to thicken.

3️⃣ Shape the twists

  1. Roll dough into a rectangle (about ¼ inch thick).
  2. Spread the cookie dough filling over half the dough.
  3. Fold the dough over like a book.
  4. Slice into strips.
  5. Twist each strip gently to form spirals.

4️⃣ Bake

  • Place twists on a parchment-lined tray.
  • Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 12–15 minutes, until golden on the edges.
  • Cool completely — they firm up beautifully.
