Ingredients
- Boneless chicken 24oz
- Carrots 2 cups, chopped
- Celery 1.5 cup, chopped
- Onion 1 cup, cut into diced shape
- Chicken broth 6cups
- Water 3/4 cup
- Thyme 1/2tsp
- Oregano 1/2tsp
- Black pepper 1/4 tsp, according to taste
- Salt 1/4tsp, or according to taste
- Bay leaves 2
- Pasta 2 cups
- Butter 1tsp
- Fresh parsley chopped
Instructions
We can prepare Weight Watchers chicken noodle soup in two methods.
Slow Cooker
- Add butter to the pan, and add celery, onions, and carrots.
- Cook all ingredients for 3 minutes.
- Fill the slow cooker pot with this mixture.
- Next, add chicken, bay leaf, Chicken broth, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix all ingredients, and cook it over a slow flame for 2-3 hours.
- After 2-3 hours, discard the bay leaves.
- Also, remove the chicken from the cooker, and shred it. Set aside the shredded chicken.
- After that, add the noodles to the slow cooker pot, and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the noodles are
- tender.
- After cooking, add shredded chicken, and turn off the stove.
- The chicken noodle soup is ready to serve.
