Air Fryer Sausage Balls

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz ground sausage (your choice of flavor)
  • 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Sausage Mixture:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground sausage, shredded cheddar, softened cream cheese, coconut flour, egg, and salt.
    • Mix everything together thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
  2. Form the Sausage Balls:
    • Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball.
    • Repeat with the remaining mixture to form approximately 30 sausage balls.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Air Fry the Sausage Balls:
    • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
    • Place the sausage balls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t touch each other. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook them in batches.
    • Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through, turning them halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning.
  5. Serve:
    • Once done, remove the sausage balls from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.
