Airfryer Fluffy Bread Bites

Ingredients:

  • 100 ml warm milk (3.38 fluid ounces)
  • 100 ml warm water (3.38 fluid ounces)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 8 grams dry yeast (0.28 ounces)
  • 2 eggs
  • 450 grams wheat flour (15.87 ounces) (sifted)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 30 ml vegetable oil (1.01 fluid ounces)
  • Egg wash: 1 egg + 2 teaspoons milk

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a small bowl, mix warm milk, warm water, sugar, and dry yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
    • In a large bowl, beat the eggs. Add the yeast mixture and stir well.
    • Gradually add the sifted wheat flour and salt to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
    • Add vegetable oil and knead the dough until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes.
    • Cover the dough with a clean cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  2. Shape the Rolls:
    • Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air.
    • Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into rolls. Place them on a parchment-lined Airfryer-safe baking tray or dish.
    • Let the rolls rise again for about 20-30 minutes until puffy.
  3. Prepare the Egg Wash:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together 1 egg and 2 teaspoons of milk.
  4. Cook the Rolls:
    • Preheat your Airfryer to 180°C (350°F).
    • Brush the tops of the rolls with the egg wash.
    • Place the tray or dish in the Airfryer basket.
    • Cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through. You may need to check and adjust the time depending on the size of your rolls and the model of your Airfryer.
  5. Serve:
    • Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
