Air Fryer Eggnog Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup eggnog
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Directions:
- Prepare the Air Fryer:
- Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Grease two small loaf pans that fit inside your air fryer basket or use air fryer-safe silicone molds.
- Mix the Dry Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- Mix the Wet Ingredients:
- In a separate bowl, mix together the eggnog, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- If using, fold in the chopped pecans.
- Fill the Loaf Pans:
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared loaf pans or molds, filling them about 2/3 full to allow space for the bread to rise.
- Air Fry the Bread:
- Place the filled loaf pans into the air fryer basket.
- Cook at 320°F (160°C) for 25-30 minutes. After 15 minutes, check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center; it should come out clean. If the top is browning too quickly, cover loosely with aluminum foil.
- Cooling:
- Allow the bread to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Glaze (Optional):
- If desired, you can drizzle a simple glaze made from powdered sugar and eggnog over the cooled bread for an extra festive touch.
Enjoy your air-fried eggnog bread, perfect for the holiday season!
