Air-Fried Cauliflower Florets

Servings: 1
Weight Watchers Points: 1 point
Ingredients:
1 cup cauliflower florets
1/4 cup breadcrumbs (use whole wheat or panko for added texture)
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp paprika
1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions:
Prepare Cauliflower:
Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets if not already done.
Prepare Egg Wash:
In a small bowl, beat the egg. This will be used to help the breadcrumbs adhere to the cauliflower.
Prepare Breadcrumb Mixture:
In another bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
Coat Cauliflower:
Dip each cauliflower floret into the egg wash, ensuring it’s fully coated.
Then, roll the cauliflower in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to ensure the breadcrumbs stick. Repeat until all florets are coated.

Air Fry:
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
Place the coated cauliflower florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; you may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time, until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
Enjoy your crispy, delicious air-fried cauliflower florets!
