๐ Air Fryer Spicy Crispy Chicken Thighs ๐ฅ
Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs ๐
- 2 tbsp olive oil ๐ซ
- 1 tsp smoked paprika ๐ถ๏ธ
- 1 tsp garlic powder ๐ง
- 1 tsp onion powder ๐ง
- 1 tsp chili powder or cayenne pepper (adjust to taste) ๐ถ๏ธ
- 1 tsp ground black pepper โซ
- 1 tsp salt ๐ง
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano or thyme ๐ฟ
- Lemon wedges for serving ๐
Instructions:
๐ช Prep the chicken:
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
- Rub olive oil all over the chicken.
๐ง Make the spice mix:
- In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder (or cayenne), black pepper, salt, and oregano/thyme.
- Rub the spice mix evenly over the chicken thighs, coating thoroughly.
๐ฅ Preheat air fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 380ยฐF (193ยฐC) for about 3โ5 minutes.
๐ณ Cook the chicken:
- Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 10 minutes, then flip to skin-side up.
- Cook for an additional 10โ12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165ยฐF (74ยฐC) and the skin is nice and crispy.
