Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs π
- 2 tbsp olive oil π«
- 1 tsp smoked paprika πΆοΈ
- 1 tsp garlic powder π§
- 1 tsp onion powder π§
- 1 tsp chili powder or cayenne pepper (adjust to taste) πΆοΈ
- 1 tsp ground black pepper β«
- 1 tsp salt π§
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano or thyme πΏ
- Lemon wedges for serving π
Instructions:
πͺ Prep the chicken:
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
- Rub olive oil all over the chicken.
π§ Make the spice mix:
- In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder (or cayenne), black pepper, salt, and oregano/thyme.
- Rub the spice mix evenly over the chicken thighs, coating thoroughly.
π₯ Preheat air fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 380Β°F (193Β°C) for about 3β5 minutes.
π³ Cook the chicken:
- Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 10 minutes, then flip to skin-side up.
- Cook for an additional 10β12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165Β°F (74Β°C) and the skin is nice and crispy.
