🍗 Air Fryer Spicy Crispy Chicken Thighs 🔥

Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs 🍗
  • 2 tbsp olive oil 🫒
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika 🌶️
  • 1 tsp garlic powder 🧄
  • 1 tsp onion powder 🧅
  • 1 tsp chili powder or cayenne pepper (adjust to taste) 🌶️
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper ⚫
  • 1 tsp salt 🧂
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano or thyme 🌿
  • Lemon wedges for serving 🍋

Instructions:

🔪 Prep the chicken:

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  2. Rub olive oil all over the chicken.

🧂 Make the spice mix:

  1. In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder (or cayenne), black pepper, salt, and oregano/thyme.
  2. Rub the spice mix evenly over the chicken thighs, coating thoroughly.

🔥 Preheat air fryer:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3–5 minutes.

🍳 Cook the chicken:

  1. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the air fryer basket.
  2. Cook for 10 minutes, then flip to skin-side up.
  3. Cook for an additional 10–12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is nice and crispy.

  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes.
