- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Teriyaki Sauce:
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, maple syrup or honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger.
2. Marinate the Tofu:
- Place the tofu pieces in a shallow dish and pour the teriyaki sauce over them. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
3. Air Fry the Tofu:
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- If you prefer extra crispy tofu, lightly coat the marinated tofu pieces in cornstarch.
- Place the tofu pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the tofu is golden brown and crispy.
4. Sauté the Green Beans:
- While the tofu is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the green beans and soy sauce. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes or until the green beans are tender but still crisp.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
