
Vegan Quick & Easy Homemade Garlic Bread
Ingredients:
- 1 loaf of vegan bread (such as French bread or Italian bread)
- 1/2 cup vegan butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: vegan Parmesan cheese, for topping
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the softened vegan butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Using a serrated knife, slice the loaf of vegan bread horizontally, but do not slice all the way through; keep the bottom of the loaf intact, so it opens like a book.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture generously on both cut sides of the bread, ensuring the mixture reaches all the way to the edges.
- Optional: Sprinkle vegan Parmesan cheese on top of the garlic butter mixture.
- Close the loaf back up and wrap it in aluminum foil, leaving the top slightly open to allow steam to escape.
- Place the wrapped loaf on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the bread is heated through and the garlic butter has melted.
- Remove the foil from the top of the loaf and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy on top.
- Carefully unwrap the garlic bread and transfer it to a cutting board. Slice and serve immediately.
