Vegan Quick & Easy Homemade Garlic Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf of vegan bread (such as French bread or Italian bread)
  • 1/2 cup vegan butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: vegan Parmesan cheese, for topping

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the softened vegan butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Using a serrated knife, slice the loaf of vegan bread horizontally, but do not slice all the way through; keep the bottom of the loaf intact, so it opens like a book.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture generously on both cut sides of the bread, ensuring the mixture reaches all the way to the edges.
  5. Optional: Sprinkle vegan Parmesan cheese on top of the garlic butter mixture.
  6. Close the loaf back up and wrap it in aluminum foil, leaving the top slightly open to allow steam to escape.
  7. Place the wrapped loaf on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the bread is heated through and the garlic butter has melted.
  8. Remove the foil from the top of the loaf and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy on top.
  9. Carefully unwrap the garlic bread and transfer it to a cutting board. Slice and serve immediately.
