Hearts of Palm pasta vegetable sauté
I used a Trader Joe product called “Hearts of Palm Pasta”. I garnished with some fresh basil. Believe it or not this entire dish is zero points on WW!!!!
Instructions
- sauté chopped onion in olive oil spray add halved grape tomatoes, sauté until onions are a touch golden, then add the slivered garlic and brown garlic a touch.. add salt and pepper and fresh lemon juice …add the rinsed and drained hearts of palm, and lots of seasoning .. I added Trader Joe’s 21 seasoning salute, more salt and pepper, paprika, Italian seasonings, and Mrs Dash Original seasoning.. I then added sone fresh chopped garden basil and parsley .. heat quickly until everything is heated through then sprinkle with some freshly grated vegan cheese..

Ingredients:
- 1 can (9 oz) Trader Joe’s Hearts of Palm Pasta, rinsed and drained
- 1 small onion, chopped
- Olive oil spray
- 1 cup grape tomatoes, halved
- 2 cloves garlic, slivered
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp Trader Joe’s 21 Seasoning Salute
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp Mrs. Dash Original seasoning
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Freshly grated vegan cheese (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Prepare Ingredients:
- Rinse and drain the hearts of palm pasta.
- Chop the onion and halve the grape tomatoes.
- Sliver the garlic cloves.
- Chop the fresh basil and parsley.
- Sauté Vegetables:
- Spray a non-stick skillet with olive oil spray and heat over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until it starts to become golden, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the halved grape tomatoes to the skillet and continue to sauté until the onions are lightly golden and the tomatoes begin to soften, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the slivered garlic and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the garlic is fragrant and slightly golden.
- Season and Cook:
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- Squeeze the juice of one lemon over the sautéed vegetables and stir to combine.
- Add the rinsed and drained hearts of palm pasta to the skillet.
- Sprinkle in the Trader Joe’s 21 Seasoning Salute, Italian seasoning, Mrs. Dash Original seasoning, and paprika. Stir well to ensure everything is evenly coated.
- Add the chopped basil and parsley, stirring to combine.
- Heat the mixture through, about 2-3 minutes, until everything is warmed.
- Serve:
- Serve immediately, garnished with freshly grated vegan cheese if desired.
